Boglarka covers migrant crisis for Sky News

2015 Bob Friend Scholar Boglarka Kosztolanyi is doing a tremendous job working as a local fixer for Sky News correspondents covering the migrant crisis in Austria, Hungary and Serbia. Followng her successful work experience at Sky News HQ, Boglarka returned to her native Hungary where Sky asked her to use her excellent combination of journalism and language skills to help their team cover the biggest story of the summer.

Working with  correspondents Mark Stone, Stuart Ramsay and Andy Wilson, Boglarka has set up interviews and live transmissions. She has wrangled with the local police and she has pursued refugees into stations,  across railway tracks and into packed carriages.

So far her work for Sky has involved frantic travel between locations including Vienna, Budapest, Nickelsdorf  and Bicske. She thinks Germany may be next.  Image depicts Boglarka and Sky New colleagues stopping for a very quick bite to eat somewhere in Austria.
