The beginning of 2013 sees a flurry of big signings and transfer activity not just in the Premiership, but for Centre for Journalism graduates too.

This week both Alex Dack and James Averill (BA graduates from 2012) began work on local newspapers. Alex is a trainee reporter on the Maldon and Burnham Standard in Essex, while James has been handed a six month contract with the MK News in Milton Keynes.

Meanwhile Dean Kilpatrick (another BA 2012 graduate) has been headhunted just six months after landing his first job. He has moved from Kent on Sunday to the Folkestone Herald.

Congratulations to all.

Any other CfJ alumni out there with job news, we'd love to hear from you.
