First year Centre for Journalism students have achieved a good set of results in the latest NCTJ essential public affairs exams.

Fourteen students passed the exam, with six of them achieving grade A.

The A grade students are:  Matt Charles, Rikki Clarke, Jemma Collins, Sam Thompson, Bill Topping and Kieran Watkins.

Well done to the others who also passed: Lydia Deichmann, Lydia Hamilton, Joshua Morl, Declan Olley, Clarissa Place, Mara Podaru, Kirsten Ringelmann, Damilola Sole.

UPDATE: Apologies to the MA students - I hadn't seen that your results had come in too. An impressive 7 of you adhieved grade A: Claire Burke, Joseph Downes, Laura Garcia, Nick Gutteridge, Karolina Kaminska, Lizzie Massey, and Katherine Purvis .

And grade Bs for Jacob Lewis, Winifred Okocha and Qandeel Warrich. Congratulations to all.

PLUS: Second year Scott Mitchell, who had to miss his public affairs exam last year, achieved a grade B. Well done Scott.

What about the MA students? As far as I know, at least 6 of the 11 received A grades!
