Today is the 70th anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact between Stalin's Russia and Hitler's Germany. This cartoon in the Guardian today comments on the current furore surrounding the release of the Lockerbie bomber Abdelbasset al-Megrahi while at the same time evoking memories of David Low's famous cartoon on the relationship between the two men, which I first discovered in GCSE History.
