APPLY! – Free BBC Speed mentoring Creative Industries Special
Speed Mentoring: Think ‘speed dating’, but for your career! If you ever wanted your own board of senior advisers, people who are established business leaders who have been there and done it. At this event on the 1st of May, they will advise you on how to succeed in your careers. If you’re lucky they may also be able to share their contacts with you! This is a unique opportunity to spend time with senior staff from within BBC radio and content and learn first hand what it takes to make it within the creative industry. Remember that the University’s work and opportunities’ fund can cover your travel expenses!
In the room will also be members from the BBC’s HR and Diversity team who are keen to engage with future talent.
Structure:
3 x tables with 10 guests and with mentors from the BBC
Format:
20 minutes per table before rotating
10 minutes from BBC colleagues sharing their experience and insights
10 minutes Q & A from those at the table
In 1 hour you will create 4 mentoring relationships and spend 15 minutes with a mentor.
