Have you published some work you’re really proud of this year? Would you like to win an award for it? You have until Sunday!
The deadline for the Student Publication Association’s Annual Awards is at midnight on Sunday, March 1 and if you’ve done any work you’re proud of this year which has been published in a student outlet you should 100% submit it. If you have written something for a newsday which has gone online this will count, as does anything you’ve done for inQuire. Just drop me a message and we can talk about getting the publication registered with the SPA.
There are more than 22 categories you can enter, with everything from best news reporter and best feature to best comment or opinion. The shortlists will be judged by professionals from across the industry, and previous winners have gone onto work at The Times, The BBC, Sky News, and more. You also get a glass trophy if you win which is pretty exciting.
