I am writing to you today as we have a number of journalistic opportunities which may be of interest to your students at University of Kent.
I work for a digital media company which has produced two websites on behalf of one of our clients, londonolympics2012.com and thesportfeed.com (BETA). As project manager for these websites I am charged with the task of getting together a team of content providers and wondered whether any of your students would be interested in working on these websites over the summer months.
As well as providing content, we have a number of opportunities to attend official Olympic press calls and to interview some of the leading personalities in the build-up to the London Olympic games. We are currently looking for people to attend interview opportunities with Dame Kelly Holmes, the Great Britain Hockey team, the Great Britain Judo team and Paul Deighton, the CEO of LOCOG.
Further to that, we are willing to offer full-time work placement opportunities to interested students based in our Lancaster offices during the London Olympigames.
