The NUJ is holding a special conference for journalism students and new recruits into the industry on Saturday 20th November.
There will be three panel discussions on: Starting out as a journalist; Investigative Reporting; and Journalism – the International perspective. Speakers will include – Kevin Maguire, Associate Editor of The Mirror,Helene Mulholland, political reporter at The Guardian, investigative journalist and authorShiv Malik, Jim Boumelha, President of the International Federation of Journalists,Foster Dongozi, General Secretary of the Zimbabwean Union of Journalists and Jennifer Dube, reporter at Zimbabwean newspaper The Standard. Other speakers to be confirmed.
