NUJ Student Conference

The NUJ is holding a special conference for journalism students and new recruits into the industry on Saturday 20th November.

 

There will be three panel discussions on: Starting out as a journalist; Investigative Reporting; and Journalism – the International perspective. Speakers will include – Kevin MaguireAssociate Editor of The Mirror, Helene Mulhollandpolitical reporter at The Guardian, investigative journalist and author Shiv MalikJim BoumelhaPresident of the International Federation of Journalists,Foster DongoziGeneral Secretary of the Zimbabwean Union of Journalists and Jennifer Dubereporter at Zimbabwean newspaper The Standard. Other speakers to be confirmed.

To register, please email student-conference2010@nuj.org.uk with your name, course and contact details. Places will be limited so if you want to come along please confirm as soon as possible. Registration and coffee from 10.15 at the School of Pharmacy, 29-39 Brunswick Square, London WC1N 1AX. The conference will end at 3.15pm.
