Anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in the social media crossfire will have seen myself, Anthony Dunkley, Harley Tamplin and James Mullan have created a new football blog – Top Four Finish.
It started out as a loose idea, but in 24 hours we went from nothing to a fully-built blog with original content, and had more than 200 views in the first day. It’s been just under four weeks since and at the last count we were on 1400+.
Anyway, we’d really like to build more of a presence online and our Euro coverage is going pretty well – the site has comment pieces, insight into certain teams, players and themes, previews for all teams, Matchday predictions and even betting tips for the gambling-savvy amongst us.
We’re on 50 followers at the moment on Twitter (@tffblog) and once we get to 100 we’re going to do a draw to give away a free Euro 2012 football and pump. Then hopefully we’ll be in a position to give away other stuff, replica shirts for example. We want to take this seriously and build it over the summer as much as possible.
It’d be great to get some more CfJ support – we’re really grateful to all those who have supported us so far – and some feedback; after all we’re a footballing blog and we want to generate as much discussion as possible!
