BBC Journalism Trainee Scheme now with extended deadline of 17 February
The BBC Journalism Trainee Scheme 2014 is now open for applications with an extended deadline of 17 February.
The entry criteria for this year’s scheme has been widened, and it is now also open to people with a qualification in broadcast journalism — though this is by no means a requirement.
Now in its eighth year the BBC’s Journalism Trainee Scheme offers a year’s paid work as a trainee in one of our UK newsrooms — across online, radio and TV – and the chance to work in one of the greatest broadcasting organisations in the world.
It’s a fully paid scheme which includes working on TV, radio and online, while being mentored by a senior BBC journalist.
