Many congratulations to CfJ alumna Harriet Robinson (BA Journalism, 2012) who has won the prize for Newcomer of the Year at the Midlands Media Awards 2013. Yet more evidence that i) professional journalism is alive and fighting and ii) CfJ graduates are taking the profession by storm. Harriet said: “Unfortunately I didn’t get to go to the ceremony because I was on holiday – but it was a fantastic surprise when I got home.” It’s an equally nice surprise for all of us.
