After hearing word that the peaceful protesters on Parliament Sqaure had lost their appeal I decided to venture down to London to find out!
I took the trusty camera and a couple of friends and had a word with some of the now locals on the square. It seems that they have become a nice little community.
Queen of the camp Tracey, an ex nurse parades around in her dressing up costume, complete with crown. Her boyfriend, who cannot read or write, sits by her side, sipping Lambrini. I also met a young student from Leeds studying Geography, and a man from Portmouth, driven by poverty.
It wasn’t hard to see who was along for the ride and who really believed in the cause to stop war and promote peace.
I am off jet setting, so once I get back I will edit and upload!
And for once it seems I wasn’t one step behind, as journalists from BBC and LBC were there to get in on the action too!
