After Tuesday’s introduction and seeing some of my class mates using it, I’ve decided to take a leap of faith and begin my contribution to the site this week. I know that it includes a huge amount of stereotypes and does not represent how journalism works in the real world, but HBO’s ‘The Newsroom’ always got me really excited to finally be a part of this course and a part of the process. The induction into the daily news conferences gave me that feeling I wanted, without Emily Mortimer was not yelling at anyone, which was a relief.
A journalism blog would not be complete without something worthy of constructive criticism. In late August, I began an opinionated news blog. It is slightly empty due to the move, but I will begin writing again soon hopefully. Some feedback or debate would be fantastic for this type of blog and medium. Please excuse the terrible name. It was a combination of a tired imagination and a need to start writing again.
