Many congratulations to our 2015 Sky News Bob Friend Scholar, Boglarka Kosztolanyi. Boglarka won the prize yesterday in stiff competition against the other shortlisted candidates: Madelaine Hanson, Adham Devenny and Evangeline Dryden.

The panel, which included Dave Betts, Managing Editor of Sky News and Stephen Claypole, Chairman of DMA Media, were greatly impressed by all four shortlisted candidates and unanimous in their choice of the winner.

Boglarka will receive her award from Dave Betts at the 2015 Bob Friend Memorial Lecture in the Pilkington Lecture Theatre at 7pm on Monday 2 March. This year's event will see John Humphrys, presenter of Radio 4's Today Programme, in conversation with Adam Boulton of Sky News. Everyone in the Centre is invited to attend, to celebrate Boglarka's success and to recognise  the efforts of all those who entered the competition this year.
