A piece in today's Observer looks at the effect of the credit crunch on our generation - 'Generation Y' - and how much we care about it. The answer based on the students they interviewed?
Not a lot.

The Price of Apathy
Well spotted Alan. I enjoyed that piece too. It reminds me of a slogan that was popular among politically active undergraduates when I was at university: "Just because you're not interested in politics, don't imagine politics isn't interested in you." Just replace the word 'politics' with 'economics'..... Â Â

Generation Y
Nice article. Makes me think that not only are we a bunch of selfish individuals, but that we really have no wider knowledge of anything that could effect us.
