Everyone is invited to hear Rory Carroll talk about what it has been like covering the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. You can see his work here. Come to the main undergraduate newsroom at 1pm on Monday 12 October. 

Rory will be there with his colleague Karen Widess, from the Institute from War and Peace Reporting, an NGO that works with local reporters to train them to international standards. Karen is a PhD student at Kent Law School. 

This is a good one for Reporting Conflict and Propaganda students. Do come.
