Vacancy for Broadcast Journalist at KMTV

KMTV has an  exciting opportunity for a qualified journalist (NCTJ or equivalent) to join the KMTV news team, working as a producer and, in time, as a reporter, on our daily hour-long flagship news show, Kent Tonight, our website and social media services.

The successful applicant will have a passion for news and high quality TV and online
production. They will be self-starting, enthusiastic, multi-skilled and have a good grasp on
the concept that this is not a 9-to-5 job, news can happen at any time and occasionally
working unsocial hours is just part of life for a professional journalist.

In return for their enthusiasm and commitment, they will join a professional, hard working
team making news output and with the opportunity to work on other shows too such as
Team Talk, Chris & Co, Paul On Politics, Made in Kent & BASSed in Kent.
Anyone wishing to apply should send a CV and short covering letter to Andy Richards,
Deputy Channel Director, ([email protected]) by Friday 15th March 2019.
